Waar kijk je The Ugly Duckling?
The Ugly Duckling (1939) staat nu in Nederland op Disney+.
An outcast duckling's search for a family to accept him leads to constant rejection before learning his true identity as a swan.
Onze korte recensie
The anthropomorphic character design is genuinely inventive, yet this early Disney effort plays its melodrama too earnestly for modern sensibilities, leaning heavily on pathos rather than wit.
