Waar kijk je Fight Club?
Fight Club (1999) staat nu in Nederland op Prime Video, Disney+, Netflix.
A ticking-time-bomb insomniac and a slippery soap salesman channel primal male aggression into a shocking new form of therapy. Their concept catches on, with underground "fight clubs" forming in every town, until an eccentric gets in the way and ignites an out-of-control spiral toward oblivion.
Onze korte recensie
David Fincher's stylish nihilism and visual precision make the film's anti-capitalist thesis feel intellectually stimulating rather than earned, though the twist ending and Brad Pitt's anarchic charisma ensure its shock value has genuinely aged well.
